This expansive coffee shop, furnished with light woods and verdant plants, is known for its thoughtful bean sourcing and the space was designed to showcase every part of the coffee supply chain it’s a part of.  Grab a seat at the long coffee bar to watch the baristas whip up lattes infused with house-made chocolate, chicory root or brown butter and pour overs served in reusable clay cups you can keep. There’s also an excellent lineup of non-coffee beverages (think: hot tamarind apple cider).

Order: The spicy Onyx Gochugaru Chai Latte with avocado toast on fluffy Japanese milk bread.

Iron Horse Coffee Company

This all-day cafe, which celebrated its 25-year anniversary in 2023, is a beloved spot to grab a brew and/or bite. Inside the brick building in downtown Rogers, bagels are served all day, alongside menus of pastries, sandwiches, coffee, tea and non-caffeinated beverages. Peruse the extensive book collection upstairs and choose a selection to read at one of the many tables while you’re there.

Order: The potent Berserker (two shots of espresso added to a large coffee) with the Mr. Zeus, a sandwich loaded with smoked turkey, ham, pastrami, provolone, and Greek olive salad.  

Bolder Coffee

Everyone in your crew will find something delicious to sip at Bolder Coffee, a modern coffee shop furnished with local art with a vast selection of beverages. The options include Ole Faithful Lattes, Off the Wall Favs, and Quali-tea Beverages, as well as frozen and seasonal picks. Order ahead on the chain’s app or pop in between 4 and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday to take advantage of happy hour, which includes 15 percent off lattes and teas.

Order: The comforting Cinnamon Toast latte with a chocolate muffin.

Confident sources every coffee it serves directly from farmers or respected importers and donates part of its proceeds to support projects like the building of a childcare facility in Costa Rica. The small-batch coffee beans go into pick-me-ups such as the aromatic Americano and Onna Latte with vanilla, honey and cinnamon, which you can enjoy in the cheerful space decorated with floral wallpaper, marble-top counters and leather seats.

Order: The London Fog, Earl Grey tea with vanilla and honey, with a slice of whatever pie is available.

Heroes Coffee

Situated in a two-story, minimalist building, Heroes Coffee is a light-filled spot to warm up with a classic latte or caffeinate with a foamy cold brew . Coffee lovers also appreciate the spot’s inventive elixirs, such as the Goldi, a drink made with turmeric, ginger and cinnamon, and the rose-hued Heart-Beet Latte. Be sure to grab a loaf of pumpkin or banana bread to munch on later. 

Order: The Rose Pistachio Latte with an apple cinnamon or white raspberry scone.

Reverie Coffee & Tea

This petite shop, accented with wood and dark blue hues, serves single-origin coffee procured from Onyx Coffee Lab, which it transforms into creative offerings. Go for an ultra-smooth cortado, an indulgent affogato (ice cream drowned in espresso or matcha or a superfood latte infused with beetroot, cacao and honey. The selection of non-caffeinated beverages is also worth checking out: the Dala Refresher, sweet lingonberry with lime juice and ginger beer presented on ice, is a nod to owner Gina Stroud’s Swedish heritage.

Order: A frothy cappuccino with a bagel from Ozark Bagel Co.

Bonus: No Time to Stop? 7 Brew Coffee

Convenience is the draw at 7 Brew,  a Rogers-born drive-thru coffee joint open from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Ask for one of the seven original drinks, such as the white chocolate mocha, German chocolate or Smooth 7 (white chocolate and Irish Cream breve). Or if you’re a fan of bubby concoctions, 7 Brew also offers sparkling waters mixed with the flavor of your choice (there are more than 30 options, from toasted marshmallow to banana).

Order:  The S’mores Mocha with a chocolate chip muffin top.
