Discover an array of free things to do in Rogers, whether you’re looking for educational attractions for kids or just a fun place to let them expend some energy. As a bonus, you’ll find that Rogers also has plenty of free parking. Downtown offers street parking but also has many free, small lots, making it easy to park and walk to nearby attractions.

The Railyard Bike Park is a natural surface bike park for all skill levels and bikes, from full-suspension bikes to dirt jumpers to BMX. It’s lighted so you can ride until 9 p.m. From here, you can also take a paved trail to Lake Atalanta Park or shoot off-road on multi-use trails connecting to Lake Atalanta and Pleasant Ridge trails.
War Eagle Mill is a working water-powered grist mill located on War Eagle Creek and by the historic War Eagle Bridge. The mill has a gift shop and restaurant.
Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area is made up of 12,056 acres of natural beauty. Its Visitor Center contains interactive exhibits, a wildlife viewing area and a gift shop. Grab hiking information here and then strike out on one of the many trails.
At Rogers Historical Museum, explore how Rogers was built, step into the actual 1894 Rogers jail cell, plus look around in a turn-of-the-century home. There’s lots of hands-on fun for families to enjoy together.
Bass Pro Shops has a 100,000-square-foot showroom full of outdoor merchandise, plus a conservation mountain, gun library, boat shop and aquarium stocked with local fish. The merchandise may not be free, but watching the big fish swim in the aquarium is—plus, it’s just fun to wander around looking at all the goods.
Beaver Lake is known for its clear water and tall bluffs that make for a perfect summer afternoon swimming, boating, fishing and SCUBA diving. Spend a couple hours hiking on the trails around Beaver Lake, or make it a really budget-friendly getaway by camping for the weekend (fee required).
Biking or walking the Razorback Regional Greenway in Northwest Arkansas is as easy as finding a trailhead and stepping on. From Rogers the Greenway goes north through Bentonville and Bella Vista almost to the Missouri line. Head south and pass through Lowell and Springdale on the way to Fayetteville. Jump off anywhere along the way for food, drink or places to play.
The Rogers Skate & Splash Park is adjacent to the Rogers Activity Center. Splash away on a hot summer day at 10 in-ground sprinklers, two moveable water cannons, and three water buckets. Or, show off your tricks at the skate park. Park benches and a playground can be found here too.
