Cooking Class – Chocolate Sourdough Sweetness

Join Baker Kailey Harmon in the HKS Kitchen for an interactive and informative class as she teaches you how to transform the traditional sourdough you savor into something even sweeter. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a slice of savory, fresh-baked Sourdough Pizza Loaf before delving into the science behind sourdough bread baking. During class, you’ll get to explore the sweeter side of sourdough baking as you Shape and Bake a Chocolate Sourdough Loaf to enjoy at the end of class paired with a Raspberry Cream Cheese Spread. Kailey will also lead you in making a Take-and-Bake Chocolate Dough to create another full loaf at home. PLUS you will get to leave with some Sourdough Starter to continue your sourdough journey for years to come! This class is for curious beginners and seasoned bakers alike who want to build confidence with sourdough while tasting its delicious versatility. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person.

MEET THE BAKER:

Kailey Harmon is a Northwest Arkansas Native, she began her sourdough journey during a tough season of life and has created the perfect, low stress recipe for any and everyone who wants to make delicious bread from their own home. “I’ve always had this calling to be a host and have others come into my home. The idea of being able to feed someone or make them a warm meal provides connection and fellowship. Something so many desperately need.” Kailey owns a micro bakery called Five Arrow Bread Co. and loves baking for Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding areas. She has taught hundreds of individuals how to make sourdough and is looking forward to sharing her skills with our group here at Honeycomb!
