Ghost Walks

Rogers Historical Museum

This evening event is a guided walking tour through the museum grounds and historic Downtown Rogers and features retellings of true, ghastly and grim stories from the Ozark region’s past.

Every town has mysteries and stories of murder, mischief, and mayhem. Rogers and the surrounding area are no exception. During five evenings in October, the Rogers Historical Museum, in partnership with Arkansas Public Theatre, will offer Ghost Walk tours in historic Downtown Rogers featuring true local stories of murder, mischief, and mayhem told by different costumed interpreters. Walk among these “ghost” storytellers as they share witness accounts of dark tales of death taken from obituaries printed in local newspapers from the 1870s to 1920s.
