“Picnic in Vera’s Victorian Garden”
Hosted by Rogers Historical Museum
The Rogers Historical Museum invites the community to step back in time where history blooms
at the upcoming “Picnic in Vera’s Victorian Garden” event. This free, family-friendly day offers a blend of flowers, fun,
and history for all ages.
Co-hosted by the Benton County Master Gardeners, this special event transforms the museum’s historic grounds
into a vibrant hub of activities. Families can participate in hands-on activities, explore the beauty of Victorian
horticulture, and enjoy a complimentary lunch. Free hot dogs will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., courtesy
of First National Bank NWA.
Your Day in the Garden:
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Guided Garden Tour: Explore the stunning, historic blooms.
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Garden Scavenger Hunt & Seed Ball Craft: Interactive fun for kids of all ages.
• Lawn Games & “Adopt a Flower”: Play historic games and dig up a souvenir flower to take home and
plant.
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• The Meaning of Flowers Program: Discover the secret language of Victorian floral arrangements.
• Free Hot Dog Lunch: Delicious food courtesy of First National Bank NWA. (While supplies last.)
Attendees of all ages will find something to enjoy, whether learning the secret language of Victorian flowers,
competing in historic lawn games, or taking a piece of the museum garden home to their own backyard. Bring a
blanket, bring a friend, and come enjoy a beautiful day where history blooms!
