Rogers Christmas Parade
The City of Rogers invites the community to celebrate the holiday season in downtown Rogers with the Rogers Christmas Parade! The parade will take place on its traditional date, the first Friday in December. This event is being organized by the Rotary Clubs of Rogers and is sponsored by F1RSTNB (formerly First National Bank NWA). The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th and follow the customary route, aside from a short detour at the beginning due to construction on Poplar Street.
Rogers Christmas Parade
The Rogers Christmas Parade begins staging at Cherry Street and 5th Street this year, and will stage south down 5th Street. The parade will begin at 5th Street and Cherry Street, heading east on Cherry Street, north on 3rd Street, and east on Poplar Street, following its customary route from there. The parade will march through the heart of downtown, down 1st Street and Walnut Street, before returning back south on 7th Street. This year, parking spots on both sides on 1st street will be cleared beginning at 6am that day to ensure a clear view and plenty of space along that main strip. Residents and visitors are welcomed to enjoy the parade and vibrant holiday atmosphere of downtown Rogers at any point along the route!
The theme of this year’s parade is “Hometown Christmas”. Parade entries will compete for trophies in four categories.
- “Spectacular Sparkles Award” goes to the entry that presents an outstanding display of lights or other type of illumination.
- “Elfin Magic Award” goes to the entry that most impressively features children.
- “Glory of Angels Award” goes to the entry that best illustrates a religious theme.
- “Knock Your Stockings Off Award” goes to the entry with the most outstanding use of the parade theme.
The Rotary Clubs of Rogers will coordinate this popular annual event managing float entries, parade lineup, and judging. The Rogers Academy of Leadership and Innovation Interact Club is also supporting the parade with dozens of volunteers as one of their community service projects.
The parade is sponsored by F1RSTNB and these organizations are partnering with the City of Rogers to showcase the community’s holiday spirit.
Grand Marshal
The Grand Marshal for the 2025 Rogers Christmas Parade is Jenny Harmon. Jenny moved to Rogers in 1974. Her late husband, Dr. Harry Harmon, opened the first Pediatric office in Benton County in July 1974.
In 1984, Rogers was one of five cities in Arkansas selected to become a Main Street Program, a downtown revitalization program developed through the vision of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Jenny served as the Main Street Rogers Director for 14 years after completing a Masters Degree in Public Administration. It was a perfect fit, partnering with downtown businesses, enhancing business opportunities, and promoting downtown Rogers as a place to spend time and make memories.
After her time leading Main Street Rogers, Jenny turned her sights to the outdoors and spent the next ten years at the Ozark Natural Science School. Over the years, thousands of Rogers School District’s 5th grade students have participated in this amazing program hiking and exploring the Ozarks.
