Traditional Spring Rolls Cooking Class

Join Sandy in the HKS kitchen as she provides step-by-step guidance for making multiple authentic Vietnamese dishes. First, you will begin class on a tasty note with a delicious and flavorful cabbage chicken salad appetizer. Next, you’ll get to the hands-on cooking where you’ll learn to make traditional pork belly and shrimp spring rolls, everything from filling to the art of rice paper rolling. Then, you’ll wrap up the evening on a sweet note with a colorful Vietnamese fruit cocktail. This culinary experience is perfect for food lovers eager to explore and learn more about Vietnamese cuisine. Recipes will be provided. Tickets are priced per person. 

MEET THE CHEF:

Sandy Thana is a culinary enthusiast with a passion for Vietnamese cuisine and a flair for home cooking creativity. Raised by a single mother who imparted the art of Vietnamese cooking, Sandy developed a deep appreciation for the flavors and techniques of this vibrant culinary tradition from an early age.

Bringing a taste of California to Northwest Arkansas, Sandy relocated three years ago, infusing her new surroundings with the rich tapestry of flavors they learned in their upbringing. Through her culinary journey, she discovered the joy of sharing her love for Vietnamese food with others, whether it’s through teaching classes or crafting mouthwatering dishes for friends and family.
