Walmart NWA Championship

presented by P&G

ROGERS, Ark. – Tournament officials today announced the return of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G to Pinnacle Country Club next fall, slated for September 21–27, 2026, marking the 20th anniversary of the event. Since 2007, the #NWAChampionship has brought the world’s best female golfers to Northwest Arkansas while featuring a weeklong lineup of family-friendly events and activities for the entire community to enjoy.

“We are thrilled to look ahead to 2026 as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G,” said Courtney Naudo, SVP, Business Planning & Integration – Growth Org, Walmart US. “With plans for new events, enhanced fan experiences, and expanded community givebacks, we’re more excited than ever to usher in a new era of the #NWAChampionship alongside our partners, volunteers, fans, and the Northwest Arkansas community.”
The 2025 edition of #NWAChampionship Week took place September 13–21, including a variety of community-driven events, despite the suspension of official tournament play due to inclement weather. Highlights from the week included record participation at the 5k @ the LPGA, elementary school field trips to the Walmart and P&G Kids Confidence Club for over 1,000 local students, largest attendance in history for the Walmart Women’s Empowerment Summit presented by Kimberly-Clark, and a celebration for former Razorback Stacy Lewis as she announced her retirement from the LPGA Tour. The BITE Experience @ the LPGA also returned with offerings from more than 35 local restaurants, breweries, and brand activations on Friday, Sept. 19, all with premier golf viewing at the 16th hole.

As the tournament approaches its 20th anniversary, the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G continues its commitment to local causes including the following charitable initiatives from 2025:

  • The #NWAChampionship presented a $20,000 donation to Arkansas Children’s Northwest as part of the Play Yellow initiative, a program created by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through the game of golf. LPGA Tour players, including Nelly Korda, Stacy Lewis and Emily Kristine Pederson also visited Arkansas Children’s Northwest during event week to engage with patients and their families.
  • As part of the 5k @ the LPGA, P&G and the #NWAChampionship donated $10,000 to the Mercy Health Foundation to support local healthcare initiatives.
  • On behalf of Tyson Foods and the #NWAChampionship, $20,000 and 40,000 pounds of protein were donated to the NWA Food Bank
  • The tournament partnered with Open Avenues, a local organization whose mission is to provide life and job skills training and onsite employment to adults with disabilities, to pack a variety of event gift bags – totaling over 3,200 bags.
  • New in 2025, the BITE Experience @ the LPGA also partnered with Ziploc and Seeds that Feed to repurpose excess food from the onsite food festival to provide accessible meals to the Northwest Arkansas community. As part of the initiative, the #NWAChampionship made a $5,000 charitable donation to Seeds that Feed.
  • Following inclement weather on Saturday and Sunday, 16,000 pounds of leftover food and product were donated to the NWA Food Bank. Additionally, more than 8,000 meals were prepared and distributed to community members, courtesy of Kingsford and Chef David Olson of Live Fire Republic.

“Giving back to the Northwest Arkansas community has always been at the heart of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G,” said Jeff Metzner, Vice President of Walmart Team Digital Commerce, Marketing & Media at Procter & Gamble. “As we approach the tournament’s 20th anniversary, we’re excited to celebrate the past 20 years in the community while also introducing new initiatives that honor the event’s legacy and deepen its impact across the region.”
